Fill out forms automatically

You can let Chrome fill out forms automatically with saved info, like your addresses or payment info. When you enter info in a new form online, Chrome might ask you if you'd like Chrome to save it.

Add, edit, or delete your info

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chrome app Chrome.
  2. To the right of the address bar, tap More More and then Settings.
  3. Tap Addresses and more or Payment methods.
  4. Add, edit, or delete info:
    • Add: At the bottom, tap Add address or Add card. When you've entered your info, at the bottom, tap Done.
    • Edit: Tap the entry. When you're done changing your info, at the bottom, tap Done.
    • Delete: Tap the entry. At the top, tap Delete Delete.

If you add, edit, or delete an address and you've turned on sync, your changes will show up on your other devices.

Nickname your payment method in Chrome

Tip: Chrome's payment method nicknames don't transfer to Google Pay. If you saved your payment information on Google Pay, you must update it separately.

Use your fingerprint or face to fill out forms

Use your fingerprint or device lock to verify your identity. You must still follow instructions and enter your security code at least once per card.

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chrome app Chrome.
  2. To the right of the address bar, tap More Moreand thenSettings and thenPayment methods.
  3. Turn "Screen lock" on or off.

The first time you enter info for a card, you must manually enter the security code. After that, you can use your fingerprint to fill the form.

Save your payment info to Google Pay

When you're signed-in to Chrome with your Google Account and enter your payment method into a form online, Chrome may ask if you want to save your payment info in Google Pay. If you accept, your payment info will be saved in Google Pay. If Google Pay doesn't support your payment method, Chrome may offer to save it locally on your device.

Payment methods saved in Google Pay will show up as suggestions in most forms you fill out online.

Add, edit, or delete a credit card in Google Pay

  1. Go to pay.google.com.
  2. Tap Payment methods.
  3. Choose an option.
    • Add: Tap Add payment method. If you don't see the option to add a new card, go to play.google.com/store/account to add a payment method.
    • Edit: Below the card, tap Edit.
    • Delete: Below the card, tap Remove.

Stop syncing payment info to Google Pay

If you're syncing credit cards and addresses in Chrome, Google Pay will still store your credit card info.

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chrome app Chrome.
  2. To the right of the address bar, tap More More and then Settings.
  3. At the top, tap the name of your account.
  4. Tap Sync.
  5. Turn off Sync everything.
  6. Uncheck "Cards and addresses using Google Pay."

If you're signed in but sync isn't enabled, Chrome may still offer to save your payment info to Google Pay.

Stop saving info to Chrome

Chrome doesn't suggest your saved info

If you don't get suggestions when you fill out a form, either:

  • The website might not be secure enough to get this info from Chrome.
  • If the website is secure, Chrome might not detect certain fields in the form.

Delete your saved Autofill form info

To delete your addresses, payment methods, and other saved info in Chrome at the same time, follow these steps:

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More More.
  3. Click More toolsand then Clear browsing data.
  4. Choose a time range, like "Last hour" or "All time".
  5. Under "Advanced," chooseAutofill form data.
